Keesha Goode: Intuitive Mandala Artist
As a child, I remember drawing and colouring geometric shapes. This came naturally and was highly enjoyable for me. Yet, with the passing of time, this natural talent got lost midst the transition of adulthood.
I learnt to meditate in my twenties, and this fostered my journey of self growth. I offer assistance to others as an Energy and Sound Healer, Psychic intuitive reader, Meditation/ facilitator, Counsellor (Dip Counseling) and Yoga teacher. I am highly attuned to the energy of people and environments, and find great joy in inspiring individuals to develop their unique intuition.
I began creating Mandalas in 2007 following a project of mural painting of a garden shed, owned by a friend. Inspired by a circular shape on the cement, I was triggered to compose a Mandala! As I let my intuition guide me, an unfolding began. I was immersed in a process of 'just let it happen’. My whole-hearted intention was to create the feeling of love for this family and their visitors. Subsequently, people have commented on how 'peaceful' they feel standing in the midst of this Mandala.
Since then I have been composing Mandalas on canvas for individuals. Also, large wall Mandala Murals have been created for yoga centres and private homes.
Before I commence each painting,I focus on the person and what they need to see. It's as if the 'soul-essence' of that individual comes forth within the Mandala to transport their inert dreams and strengths into fruition.
To see and feel the reactions of the recipient when they glimpse their completed Mandala is both an honour and a joy for me. Dare I say, I am blessed to be the conduit for this etherial, artistic journey.
